we all know they're here but we don't really know who they are.. they are people who sign up here and then never comment (or rarely ever do).. doesn't that make any of you regulars here at the very least a tiny bit suspicious?.
why would a person sign up to a forum like this and then never say a damn thing?
it seems to me that there is a primary reason why some folks sign up and then never comment on anything: to spy.

i'm sure there are some canadians here, so please voice your oppinion - am i out of my mind to move there, or is it the best decision of my life?
- of course the answer is somewhere in between, but feel free to be extreme if you want to .
I am still in southern b.c. just more to the right.
I moved with my family as a teenager, the Island got really crowded and expensive in the 90's.

I just wanted to mention that Vancouver Island ( Victoria ) is a great place to live the climate is said to be among the best in Canada
Agreed! I used to live there ( the Island) and I loved it.

well technically it is an anniversary invite/special talk invite.
the car group was just here.
i was home but hiding and my husband got the door.. i want to tell them exactly why i am not going , but i haven't got my head quite there yet.. i think i am gonna have to just decline!.
So true about the guilt maryann, but thats how witnesses live. Without guilt noone would go in service or give their talks or torture there family members with little worthless tracts.
I had planned on saying , "I observed it before and unless you are doing something new or I am allowed to participate now, I will just stay home."

I initially came on here years ago in search of answers to hard questions. I read pretty much everything I could.
I had newborns when I first joined and they usually were sitting with me or I was nursing them when I was reading, which leaves no hands to type. I started commenting here and there when I was able, but for the most part everything scholastic I had to say was covered by Mary, everything funny by Outlaw and everything sweet by Flipper.
So mostly I observed. I come back now and again and I have brought many people to this forum. I feel like I know alot of the posters personally even if they don't know me.
Today I am here because I had too many Gin and tonics and then had my memorial invite dropped of. Seemed like fun to come read a bit, see whats up.

Hmmm, my wife was out in service today. Bet she was passing out invites
They had said today was the first official day of the campaign so most likely she was. I think I might collect as many as I can from people I know and send them all back to the local cong. with "NEVER" written across the front.

I too love the southern B.C. lifestyle and climate. But for jobs many have headed to Alberta.
In general Canada is fabulous. But an Alberta winter is hard to take, in my humble opinion and so I will stay right here in BBC
and save my pennies in my wooden loonie bank, like the true Canadian hozer I am.

ever heard of transglutaminase?
it's also known as meat glue.
while banned in the eu it is very commonly used in north america and australia.
OMG Outlaw I had forgotton about the weiner issue when I was a kid. Where I grew up on Vancouver Island we were not allowed to eat weiners unless the were all beef. I remember we were supposed to ask at school fun days (when they served free weiners) if they were all beef. If they were not were not allowed to have one. They never were all beef because the regular weiners were cheaper. I specifically remember eating a bun with ketchup on it several times.
SO STUPID!
